Filming

 

It's filming day! It's filming day!

Me and my friends met at Tree Tops park. I told them to meet from 4-5 p.m. This would give me the time they aren't there to collect establishing shot. Cristian, Sara, and Jack came around 4:15 so we walked the park together and gathered many shots of wildlife and plants that we thought were pretty to add the the scenic effect. We also were on search for the most perfect bench to film the shot of Ash and Izzy meeting. 

The biggest problem we had was not capturing people walking. The park was packed as it was Spring Break, a Saturday, and a holiday. This meant there were families, little kids, celebrations, and every dog in South Florida in the park. But we made due and I got plenty of footage. 

When Izzy came, we directed her to the bench we had located and started filming the run up. Sara had started filming the shot of "Sara" and "Izzy" walking. We then flimed a shot where the camera is behind a tree as "Izzy" and "Sara" walk by, then we got Cristian and Jack to get a shot of the two running up to "Ash." After this was filmed I filmed close up of the character's reactions as "Ash" gives her response to Izzy's question and Cristian filmed my face to my character's reaction. This concluded our filming. It would've taken a short time but as we are all close friends we laughed and joked through it all and had a fun time filming these clips.
