Now was one of the most difficult tasks. Actually picking a day to film. Yeah I have a screenplay and props and ideas, but what are ideas without a cast that has free time to star in a movie with 0 budget (no ones getting paid today). For me this was a challenge as I do sports and clubs that don't allot much if any free time. For my lovely cast, they had time to spare lets just say that. Now did they want to spend hours filming with me after doing a 7-hour school day? Unfortunately, no. So I picked February 7th and started asking the cast and crew if they'd be available.
So there's been mild setbacks in dates. Don't know if you have ever visited South Florida, but the weather here does not like to be predicted. I needed a sunny, windy day. I got rain or dry yuckiness. There were also some issues with my lovely cast and crew with when they could film. So we ended up filming in mid-March, leaving me less than a month to edit. But It's alright Because everything up till filming was accounted for. Actors these days aren't devoted to the craft like they used to be.
