So now that we had to push back filming to a month past what we were meant to do I had to make a major change. At least a change that felt major to me. Daylight Savings time has started. The park closes at 7:00. The sun now sets at 7:30. So I couldn't film when the sun was setting anymore. This disappointed me. I felt the film would be so beauitful, and very romantic comedy, with a sunset. Not only this but filming multiple shots when the sun is setting is difficult to edit and keep constant. So I had to change the time of day we were filming to 4:00p.m. Because the time of day changed I also changed the location. The marsh area is beautiful but so hot and bright that it would look so awkward in my film. So I choose to film by a bench that was close to the marsh but surrounded by trees and secluded. These changes were made to help keep the romantic and whimisical mood working with the factors I have little control over. Very unfortunate that I can't control the sun.
